A Simple Hydroponic Raft

Grow Organ­ic Food Eas­i­ly and Inex­pen­sive­ly The HAPI project has released a video demon­strat­ing the pri­ma­ry com­po­nents and oper­a­tion of a sim­ple hydro­pon­ic raft. The sys­tem is extreme­ly low-tech. It uses a sin­gle light and an air pump to grow 24 plants in 8′ sq. The raft takes about about $200 and 3 hours to build…

New Arduino Code Released

The lat­est arduino code has been post­ed to github. This rep­re­sents v2.1 of the firmware for the sen­sor and con­trol lay­er of the HAPI plat­form. hapi to Add Smart Power Management to Automation Platform

HAPI has announced a col­lab­o­ra­tion with researchers at the Tech­ni­cal Uni­ver­si­ty of Kosice to devel­op smart pow­er man­age­ment capa­bil­i­ties for food pro­duc­tion facil­i­ties. Automatic Plant Irrigation System
