In strivi22-low-resng towards the creation of carbon-neutral food production facilities, managing heating and cooling is critical. Solar thermal air heating and ventilation units are valuable pieces of equipment in this respect. The hapi team is working on a set of designs and construction guides for several different units.

This first unit was built and installed, in our spare-time, over the course of a week. Total labor was about 8 person-hours and the total material cost was around $160.

Check out the Construction Guide.
