In strivi22-low-resng towards the cre­ation of car­bon-neu­tral food pro­duc­tion facil­i­ties, man­ag­ing heat­ing and cool­ing is crit­i­cal. Solar ther­mal air heat­ing and ven­ti­la­tion units are valu­able pieces of equip­ment in this respect. The hapi team is work­ing on a set of designs and con­struc­tion guides for sev­er­al dif­fer­ent units.

This first unit was built and installed, in our spare-time, over the course of a week. Total labor was about 8 per­son-hours and the total mate­r­i­al cost was around $160.
